MSBL/MABL was founded in 1988 and is a national organization of baseball leagues for players of various skill levels and age divisions. MSBL/MABL has over 200 affiliated leagues, 3,300 teams, and more than 45,000 players.
Members play in well organized local leagues and have the opportunity to compete in a variety of in-state, regional, and national tournaments.
OHIOMSBL currently has four age divisions: 25 and over, 35 and over, 45 and over, and 55 and over. Players come from the Akron/Canton, Youngstown, Cleveland triangle, and the surrounding areas.

How Can I Join?
Simply request and complete a Player Application Form (see link below) along with your $26 registration fee. You will be informed of the new player workout closest to your location, where you will get a chance to meet team managers and other new players such as yourself. Soon you will be participating in your first practice! All players who want to play in the league and come to the workout will be assigned to a team. Our first workout day will be late March, so fill out the application form now to reserve your spot!
 Unlike other baseball leagues, OHIOMSBL is not geared for the aspiring pro. Rather, it is designed to provide the serious amateur with the chance to play baseball again. Players are mostly weekend warriors who enjoy baseball and the thrill of competition. Membership in MSBL/MABL often opens doors to new friendships and business contacts that go beyond the white lines and beyond the local community. That is why the Men's Senior Baseball League is the largest and fastest growing amateur baseball organization in the country.

Team and player fees are being finalized for the 2010 season. The 2010 season will consist of 15 scheduled games, plus an "All OHIO World Series" in the fall. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due by March 15, 2010. The balance of the team fees is due by April 15, 2010. The season starts the week of May 3, 2010.
There will also be a number of pre-season, and mid-season tournaments now being scheduled. The fees for these tournaments will be an additional charge should the team choose to participate. We are now working with the Columbus and Cleveland MSBL teams setting these up. Stay tuned for more details..
Fields are being scheduled now for the 2010 season. We have over 125 games scheduled at Thurmon Munson Field in Canton, with additional games at Cene Park in Youngstown, The Pipe Yard Stadium in Lorain, Hudson High School, and Massillon Tiger Field in Massillon. Other quality fields are being added. We realize that players want the satisfaction (and safety) of playing on first rate quality fields.
